Seedr

Have you ever used Seedr? Well you should. Just google it and make a free account.
 Seedr is very useful especially for people who own IPhones that are not jail broken as it allows you to torrent files due to Apple revoking apps such as Itorrent and itransmission. I love Seedr. During this quarantine I’ve been trying to learn courses to improve myself as an individual and I was able to torrent them without any problems via Seedr. Use at your pleasure

Thursday 09th, June,
                                Well today was a really good day for me. I didn't do ONE THING during class and got sent out. I'm that bad. NO!! Jus kidding I lost my art book together with my portrait in it. Miss didn't penalize me but it's a good thing I found it back safe and sound . I have some pics to post up. Here they are....... and I'll be posting them up in parts for you to see the different stages of it. Here's the first:

I'm going good so far .Stippling is coming out ok.

                                            Well today there was nothing much to do in class. All we did was begin to do the stippling of our drawings . Mine is coming out okay so far , I'll post up some pics of it. Oh and Miss gave us a note on :
             STIPPLING
This is a technique, also referred to as pointillism. It consists of creating tonal values , using dots. Light, medium and dark values can be achieved, by varying the quantity of dots, the spaces between them and the pressure with which these dots are applied.


Well this was all done today. It was a very slow day. Until then people of earth!!!

Tuesday 24th May, 2011.

                                        Well good morning ppl of earth and all around.Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday, which is originally when I am to post things about my art class. Well yesterday art class was very interesting we had to do a drawing with pen and ink. We could have drawn a picture of anyone of our choice. Well I drew one of  my friends. The picture is coming out okay to me but he doesn't like it at all . But ppl I draw it over and post up some pics for u to see the outcome. 

                                 Well here are some things we learnt yesterday when.

                               The Art of Copying

          1. Draw a Grid unto your page.

          2. Count the blocks along the x and y axis of your 

             grid.

          3. Draw a grid unto the picture that is going to be           

             copied making sure that the number of squares 

             on the x and y axis match the number of squares               

             on your sketch pad - paper.

         4. Match each block on the picture with its 

             corresponding block on your page.

              

                 Put these skills into practice and you'll be able to copy anything!!

Hello again ppl ......I forgot to tell you all some of the theory things done in class . But thanks to my great friend Christopher Sahadeo , after reading his blog , I remembered.

            Well these were some things being discussed about pastels;
       
            There are two types of pastels:
           .Oil 
           .Chalk


 Miss gave us some of the best places for working with pastels.
         These should be rough places.
Examples : Any paper with a Texture .
           This may be Cold press paper or   
           water colour paper.
          
 Example:Velour .
                Has a velvet texture /surface.


 Another thing about oil pastels is that they can also be blended using artists Turpentine.


Pastels can also be scraped and erased.
So if you are ever colouring with pastels and make a mistake, you learned a new way to get rid of it.

It is a plantain, I painted it with pastels.
We are getting marked on it tomorrow.

Friday 13th, May.

                             Well today was a good class. We worked with pastels. I find it very messy to use. We had to draw a fruit....any fruit. I brought an apple ....again. I began to draw it and colour it in class, it's coming out okay though. And today I got back my drawing of the fruit in pencil. I didn;t do soo good though .. I got 15/25.

I thought I should've gotten higher, but anyways. We have to do the fruit and colour it for monday . I have lots of work to do.

                   I realize that art is getting more challenging and some of my work I don't get the marks I want sometimes... but thats not going to stop me from doing art in form 4. Anyways ....oh I almost forgot to tell you all  I learned a new technique called wrapping . It's when you either colour or draw in the same direction of the fruit you have ........well ppl of earth ....thats all for now ....LATERZ!!!

Thursday 5th, May,2011.

                                          Well today we drew our fruit. Finished drawing it actually. Mine was bossss. I can't wait till next time. Well dat was all for today we didn't do alot........... anyways I will pot up more pic of my work..... LATERZ PPL!!!!! :)

Wednesday 27th April, 2011.
                                              Today art class was great. We had to draw a still life. mine was an apple. I am almost done with my composition, all I have to do is shade it. It is coming along fine. Miss also gave us some tips on how to make our composition come out professional. She gave us a tip on how to hold our pencil when shading and softening the edges of the fruit to make it look more realistic. these techniques were very helpful to me in my work. I learn a lot from miss. Well look forward to some pics I'll be posting up. Just make sure u comment on the pics and rate it . Well ciao ppl next time.........laters.

    Tuesday 26th April,2011.

                                       Well today was like any other day in art class.It was the first day of the hardest term ,term 3. Miss gave us what we would cover this term and the things we need to revise from the last 2 terms. The work sounds exciting and I'm pretty excited to get started with it. Our class also needs to review our collage designing. We did terrible in that . I cant wait to get started in our work I'm so excited .......well thats it for now ppl keep checking for more posts ...laters.
